Polly Mertens had bulimia for 20 years and is now a women’s empowerment mentor and recovery blogger. She is the founder of the bulimia recovery website www.GetBusyThriving.com and her award-winning recovery blog. She hosted mentoring programs and online workshops about recovery and created two guides about bulimia: Bulimia Recovery Stories and How to Help a Friend with Bulimia.
Caitlin Boyle
Caitlin Boyle is the inspiration behind the healthy living blog Healthy Tipping Point and the creator of the self-esteem movement Operation Beautiful (which was an online website and forum for many years in the 2000’s). She is the author of three books, including Operation Beautiful: Transforming the Way You See Yourself One Post-It Note at a Time and has appeared on The Today Show and the Oprah Winfrey Network.
Nina Vucetic
Nina Vucetic is a recovered bulimics that founded HelpForEatingDisorder.com, a website committed to helping women overcome their struggles with eating disorders. She also has a YouTube channel with many videos about eating disorder recovery. She was very active in the 2000’s offering resources for help including her eBooks and coaching programs.
Richard and Ali Kerr
Richard and Ali were the co-founders of BulimiaHelp in the 2010’s (now BingeCode), a website that provides online self-help treatment and “The Bulimia Help Method”. BulimiaHelp (BingeCode) intended for people who don’t have the opportunity to book into expensive treatment centres, for those who have lost hope or those simply seeking a fresh approach to recovery.
